The Octopus Fluids Resin Inks are quick-drying, alcohol-based color concentrates that have been specially developed for coloring epoxy resin, UV resin, acrylic resin, polyester resin and other casting resin systems. They are extremely economical and give the resin an intense color without affecting the transparency of the material.
The Octopus Fluids Resin Inks can be used to color all common brands of casting resins. We recommend observing the manufacturer's mixing ratios.
Compared to our series of alcohol inks, which was specially developed for alcohol ink painting, the dye content in the resin inks is about 5 times as high, which allows the epoxy resin to be colored even more vividly. The flow properties of the resin inks have also been optimized for use in resin. The dyes do not spread as much on the surface of the resin and thus allow the resin artist to work more precisely.
In contrast to conventional alcohol inks, the recipe of the Octopus Fluids Resin Inks has been adapted so that known problems with epoxy resin dyeing no longer occur. In this way, the 35 different colors remain true to their original color even after the mixing process and after drying. In addition, there is no brownish tinge to be seen in our resin ink series after application in the resin. This makes the colors ideal for the production of cast resin jewelry, resin coasters and the popular Petri Dish art. All colors can be easily combined with each other and with our alcohol inks.
Due to their high color intensity and the improved flow properties, you can use these resin colors for a wide variety of projects and works of art. Thicker epoxy resin layers, such as those produced in the manufacture of river tables, can also be colored without any problems. As with colors that do not rely on pigments as coloring agents, permanent use in direct sunlight should be avoided.
