The Write & Draw Cleaner supports the cleaning of your sensitive writing instruments.

The use of pigmented and waterproof inks in fountain pens requires careful maintenance of these sensitive writing instruments. While fountain pens can be cleaned with relatively little effort after using dye-based inks, even after a very long period of time, you should be careful not to let any residues dry in the fountain pen when using pigmented inks, as these can usually only be removed by mechanical cleaning with the help aggressive cleaning agents can be removed.

To prevent this, we recommend that you always clean your fountain pens thoroughly after use. In order to achieve a better cleaning effect than with clear water, we have developed the Write & Draw Cleaner. This special fountain pen cleaner dissolves the color pigments and the binding agent contained in the Write & Draw inks and thus ensures that your writing instruments are cleaned without leaving any residue. It is suitable for fountain pens, calligraphy nibs, brushes and glass nibs.

If necessary, you can also leave the ink cleaner on overnight.
The Write & Draw Cleaner contains only mild cleaning substances so that steel or gold nibs, ink feeds or brush bristles are not attacked. In the case of nibs with colored coatings (gold, copper, black), these can come loose if they are also cleaned mechanically. We recommend testing this on an inconspicuous area first.

The fountain pen cleaner is not suitable for removing ink that has already dried.

Just like the Write & Draw drawing inks, the cleaner is made exclusively from vegan ingredients.
